Shoot Info - Special Requirements Etc
Welcome all to the 2015 MOA Weekender.
We will regularly update this thread with more info as it becomes available.
To start with a few simple FAQ's

Q; When is it?
A; 1st / 2nd August 2015
Q; How Much will it Cost?
A; £25.00
Q; Whats it about / How will it work?
A; This years weekender will be split over 2 days.... Day 1 (Saturday) will primarily be a chilled fun day with different stations for you to visit, like last years marksman shoot, along with some smaller pistol shoots etc throughout the day. Day 2 (Sunday) will be the shoot day and will last all day.
Q; Why have you done this? surely 2 days shooting is better than 1??
A; Well as most of you know Steve is nearly 50 now... amongst other appendages his legs arn't really what they once were..... LOL.... Joking aside, we thought this year we would be a bit different....
Most people enjoy the socializing aspect just as much as the shoot, as lets face it, it is a weekend away with the boys for most of us... so we though we'd have a day to chill, chat, test equipment, mixed in with some exciting side events.... followed by a whole day of full weekender goodness packed in to one event filled day.
Q; What Facilities are on site?
We have private toilets.
Access to battery charging facilities
Hot & Cold Water
Cooking station
First Aid
Q; What food arrangements have been made?
A; As always Cath's Cafe will be open to serve a variety of hot & cold meals... Exactly what is still to be confirmed. im sure she will assist should you need help with cooking any of your own food.
Q; What time can i arrive, When will we finish Etc?
A; You are free to arrive anytime after 12pm on Friday 31st July. If arriving later, please make us aware beforehand and as always try to be use a little light / noise discipline. Sundays shoot should finish no later than 5:30pm...
Q; Is There a theme to this shoot?
A; Im glad you asked.! yes, this year Steve has decided it will be a Vietnam Themed shoot... As always we will have lots of surprises in store.
Q; Do I need to wear Vietnam era kit...
A; Ultimately we will not dictate what kit you wear, other than certain safety kit etc. We want you to be comfortable. That said the more you put into it the more you get out of it.. . Not to mention you will look cooler on the pics if you look like something off black ops.
Q; Where do i find more info on the theme etc....?
A; More info regarding the situation / teams / days events will be posted up as soon as they are available
Q; Will there be Explosions?
A; Erm...... in a word YES!!!
Q; Can i come for half a day...
A; Not really no... An awful lot of planning goes into making these shoots great.... it becomes exceptionally difficult if people are coming and going throughout the day
