Quite possibly the hardest decision of your airsofting life - your first rifle.

Do you go for the old favourite M4 or the AK47? Are you more of an old skool Brit kit chap and want that SA80 or do you just love your G36?

Here i will link a few ideal starter rifles from various sites that i have experience of using and knowing the decent makes.

Q. What make is the BEST make of rifle?

A. That completely depends on the rifle in question.

AK47

So you want the AK47? Well here we have what i believe to be one of the best going The CYMA AK47 (Hence why i have 2 of them) at £58 they are cheaper than any other AK i have seen. The reason they are so cheap is that they are from Poland, nothing is wrong with them at all, they are just super cheap!

With this rifle you will need to request them to downgrade the power from 400fps to 330fps. This can be done in the order notes section.

M4
M4 your kind of choice? The G&G Combat Machine range are brilliant pieces of kit. At £117 these are a tad more expensive than the AK47 but they are also bulletproof. Just like the CYMA AK.

There is a cheaper option in the CYMA M4 at only £63 (i have not used one of these so cannot comment on reliability) being a CYMA it should have the same build quality of the AK.

Again you will need to request a power downgrade when ordering.

Keep an eye on this thread where i will be adding other rifle variants to the list.

If you have any questions or would like to add anything, don't hesitate to either PM me or throw a post up on this thread!

I understand choosing your first airsoft rifle can be quite overwhelming with so many options out there. What are the most important features you’re looking for in your first airsoft rifle? Is it affordability, reliability, or perhaps a specific style or brand that you've always admired?
