Post subject: | **MOA Coronavirus Statement** UPDATED 21/7/2020 |
***MOA Covid-19 Statement*** WE'RE BACK!! Yes you heard that correctly - our first shoot back will be on Sunday 2nd August 2020! (BOOKING ON LINKS WILL GO LIVE AT 2000HRS!) It's been a long time but we can finally say it and damn does it feel good! Me and Biker have had multiple lengthy discussions regarding how to safely open up again. In order for us to return safely in the current climate we will be implementing the following changes for the forseable future:- 1 - Shoots will be limited to 20 players - NO EXCEPTIONS This is on a first come first serve basis. Please take note this also means you are not to just turn up on the day without prior booking. Anyone doing so will not be allowed on the shoot. For the forseable future until further notice ALL SHOOTS will be run on a PRE-BOOKING basis only. This means that when you book on you MUST give your full name. (as you all should have been doing anyway ) PLEASE ONLY BOOK ON IF YOU ARE CERTAIN YOU CAN ATTEND - NO SHOWS TAKE AWAY THE CHANCE FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO ATTEND BOOKING ON The best way to book on is with the forum link - this makes it so much easier for me! If you wish to book in via facebook this can only be done by posting in the shoot event itself your booking. If you wish to add others to the booking, this needs to be done on a separate post on the event so it reads like a list. DO NOT GO ADDING TO EXISTING POSTS. Preferably payment will be via paypal or bank transfer (details of which can be obtained when you book on by contacting luke) Cash payment shall still be accepted and this will be done on the car park when you arrive. BB's & Pyro (if available) will still be available to purchase at the car park ONLY. As above, the prefered payment is via paypal or bank transfer. PLEASE NOTE - WE WILL NOT BE SUPPLYING ANY HIRE EQUIPMENT/RIFLES/EYE PRO DURING THIS PERIOD OF TIME. 2 - Hand sanitizer will be available to use and will be in highly visible places. 3 - All booking in will be conducted at the car park. Please remember this is an active farm and on the main road, so please be sensible! On your arrival at the car park, your forehead temperature will be taken with a non-contact thermometer by a member of MOA staff. If your temperature is high, you will be asked to leave site. There will be no negotiation on this. Booking in at the car park will be between 0800hrs - 0900hrs. If you arrive early, you will have to wait for booking to open. If you arrive late (0901hrs onwards) you will have missed the booking slot as this will only be conducted at the car park. 4 - Protective gloves shall be worn by a member of MOA Staff when dealing with sales/cash/temperature checking for everyones safety. 5 - MOA, during this period, will not be providing food at lunch or tea/coffee during the day. You will need to bring your own food/drink. 6 - The safe zone tents will be in use but will be strictly for setting up of equipment in the designated table spaces to maintain the 1 meter plus guidelines. Eating/drinking/socialising WILL NOT be permitted inside the tents - REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER, IF ITS RAINING YOU'RE GETTING WET!!! 7 - During this period, vehicles will only be taking equipment up the track. You will need to load the vehicle yourself and unload at the safezone. You will be walking up the track. If for any reason you require a lift and have good enough reason, you must wear a lower face covering in the vehicle. Anyone driving the vehicles will have a lower face covering on AT ALL TIMES in the vehicle. 8 - The in-game medic rule will be amended - this will be explained and demonstrated on game days. We ask that if you do plan on attending, to abide by government recommendations in respect of social distancing when greeting each other and personal distances to each other. If you feel unwell, have been advised to self-isolate or have symptoms of COVID-19 you are asked to NOT attend. All of the above is NONE NEGOTIABLE. We hope you understand, but in order to maintain shoots safely at MOA - these are the temporary changes we must take. Regards, Luke & Steve(Biker) |
