Itinery update:-

Friday 20th May:-
Those who wish to make a full weekend of it are welcome to arrive on site after 12 noon and set up camp/get last minute gear from airsoft world which is just down the road.
Set camp and get the fire on

Saturday 21st May:-
Main contingent of MOA invaders arrive throughout the day
Zero rifles and pistols/test day for kit
Get to know our bearings with a quick shoot amongst us those who wish.
Prep rifles for the sunday shoot, stow rifles away once done
Crack open a beer or 20 and drink the night away with the finest gentlmen around. (we may even be able to out drink the aussie and the scot again)

Sunday 22nd May:-
Wake up and recover from the nights hard drinking
All the POW airsofters will arrive on site from 0830 onwards
Shoot brief at 0930
Shoot all day until 1730
Pack up after succesful days shoot and drive home all bruised and knackered.

Monday 23rd May:-
TO BE CONFIRMED!!
Those who wish may be able to camp over sunday night into monday and then come home monday. I am in discussion with Beth to sort this out for us.

Update:-

I have been speaking to Beth at POW today.

She will make sure there is a method in place (red armbands etc) in which we can all be on the same team on the day. Now these teams number in at about 50-60+ each team. Naturally we will be zee germans as usual

If you do wish to game with the allies against us lot you are welcome to do so - its all personal choice. Just bear in mind you will probably be buddied up if you dont know the site, as its mahoosive. Just let me know if you want to be on the allies and i shall speak to Beth.


CAMPING

Ok - this will be interesting. There is limited space for tents (as they dont have a lot of the green stuff - grass) there is some hard ground we can use as an overspill but we shall cross that bridge on the day. Tent-sharing will be a must.

Latest update from Beth at POW scotland regarding BBs and Pyro:-

Pyro:- Any pyro is ok to be used (Mk5 or below ONLY) and as long as it is not home made pyro. The wrapping on the grenade is no issue (foil or paper) as these tend to be picked up on the clean up days.

Pyro is available for sale on site. Prices are:-

Thunderflashes for £2 each
Pineapple Grenades for £3 each
Ring pull smokes for £3.50 (or 4/£12). All Enola Gaye products.

Ammo:- As mentioned POW is a "green" site meaning they only allow Bio-degradable BBs to be used. I have asked Beth for clarity on the use of sniperweight and pistol ammo. She has said it is mainly the AEG ammo they concern themselves with for being bio's. Pistol ammo and Sniper ammo is fine to be used as you currently do.

Ammo is also available for sale on site. Prices are:-
£12 for 5000 rounds of .2's
£13 for 4000 rounds of .25's
£14 for 3750 rounds of .28's

SCOTLAND TRIP UPDATE:-

For those of you going to the shoot and who want pyro.....

To make things sort of easier for you guys you can place an order via pm to me or just post up on this thread what pyros you like. They will be the pyro we sell at an MOA shoot, the Mk5 thunderflash sticks and big friction smokes. Prices are the same at a normal moa shoot. £3.50 each or 3 for £10 on both smokes or thunderflash. We will then bring up your order with us on the friday. Don't worry if you forget, pyros are available for sale on site by POW (found on the post a few posts up) we just thought we'd give you the option


We will need to know what pyro's people want by Wednesday 18th May and i shall collect your money when i see you on the other side of the border!

This will be a good shoot and i can't feckin wait!!! TWO WEEKS TO GO!!!!
