[-BREAKING NEWS-]
We are getting reports tonight from the UK Government that an MoD asset has been stolen from a train en-route to London from an MoD facility in Carlisle. The theft is believed to have happened between Preston and Wigan North Western train stations.
Details are very sketchy but we believe this to be the work of dissident republicans based on previous attacks of this kind.
More information will be released as we get it.

More news relating to the recent breaking news about the theft of an MoD asset from a train around Wigan -
Masked men were seen escorting the MoD asset into an old 4x4 and made off along B roads towards shevington.
There have been numerous CCTV sightings of the vehicle and latest reports and rumors believe the vehicle DID NOT leave the Wigan area.
No other news from the MoD has been released.

The UK government however has just announced that it will outsource the hunt for the asset to groups of mercenaries - due to recent government cuts to military spending.

The worlds eyes are on the UK government right now.

The UK government tonight has released a press release regarding the recent theft of an MoD asset from a train in wigan on Tuesday.
"We are working with local police enforcement aswell as national security personell to secure the stolen asset(s)
We are unable to disclose the nature of the information, or what was stolen, at this time in the interests of national security but we believe the information is very dangerous in the hands of terrorists or thieves."

In another statement an MoD spokesperson was quoted as saying "Talks with a couple of mercenary units are in advanced stages and we hope to be able to confirm their involvement tomorrow"

There has been confirmed CCTV footage of the 4x4, which was involved in the theft, outside a house in Wrightington.
